KEBBI State government has donated six new Hilux patrol vehicles and 30 motorcycles to the 8th Division of the Nigerian Army, Sokoto towards strengthening security and enhancing its operational capability. Kamba said the gesture was in furtherance of Bagudu administration’s effort to facilitate the performance of the Army in eliminating banditry in Kebbi State and Northwest zone. Receiving the keys to the vehicles, Olatunji appreciated the government and people of Kebbi State for their support. On behalf of the Nigerian Army High Command, he expressed profound appreciation to the governor for also donating large sum of money to the families of fallen heroes and wounded soldiers receiving treatment. He said the motorcycles donated by the state government would be deployed for patrol purposes in areas facing security challenges, such as Makuku, Maga and Dankolo.
